When should I start preparing for medical school interviews

It’s never too early to understand what medical school interviews involve, but focused preparation should begin once you know which universities you are applying to, so you can have a better idea of their interview format.

What types of medical school interviews do you help with?

We can help you prepare for both Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs) and traditional panel interviews. Our preparation covers common interview questions, key medical school interview topics, communication skills, ethical scenarios and the specific skills needed to perform well in different interview formats.

Do you offer university-specific interview preparation?

Yes. Our 1-to-1 interview preparation will be tailored to the medical school you have applied to. This allows your tutor to focus on the university's interview format, likely topics, question styles and the skills you need to demonstrate.

We also run some University specific webinars, to help students prepare for some of the most popular schools. Keep an eye on our product page for new sessions.

How many interview preparation sessions will I need?

This depends on your individual experience, confidence and how much preparation you have already done. Some students may benefit from individual practice and mocks,, while others may want more extensive preparation with a tutor and mock interviews.

What happens during a 1-to-1 interview preparation session?

Your tutor will work with you to identify your strengths and areas for improvement before practising relevant interview questions and scenarios. Sessions can include question and topic preparation, mock interview practice, feedback and guidance on how to structure and communicate your answers effectively.

The aim is not to give you scripted answers, but to help you develop the skills and confidence to respond naturally on the day.

Do you offer mock interviews?

Yes. Mock interviews are an important part of our interview preparation. Our MMI course allows you to practise MMI stations interactively online, with personalised feedback to help you identify where you can improve before your real interview.
